I ordered boots for my daughter to wear to a Kenny concert. I received a message after i had ordered and paid that they were on back-order for 2 months (which was after the concert) i contacted them and canceled the order.

They miraculously were sent out that same day (months before they were supposed to be back in stock). So I had to wait for them to arrive, mail them back, and now i have been waiting FOR A MONTH to be reimbursed. Will never order from them again.

They told me that the boots have been received but they have not been checked in yet. I write to them every few days and they keep giving me the same story.

Product or Service Mentioned: Sheplers Customer Care.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.

Monetary Loss: $169.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

It appears you paid via a debit card or direct from your bank account. Not a wise idea when ordering online as paying with a credit card gives you better protection---you still have your money until you pay the credit card off once all is ok. Not wise to continue waiting for something they say is on "back order."
